REVIEW:
Really great mystery. Jagg is a great cop but plays by his own rules and sometimes they get him in trouble. Now one step away from getting fired he is caught up in an art heist and the murder of his mentor when he answers a call of a murder in the park. What he finds leaves him rattled. A beautiful woman standing over a dead man with gun in her hand.
Sunny has a brutal past that has left her untrusting and not looking for a relationship. She is fine with her small house and her job training guard dogs. That is until Jagg walks into her life with his blunt ways and pointed questions. It also seems like he can see through her.
Fast paced with lots of twists and turns you aren't sure who to trust as you follow the twisted path of violence and mayhem. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next in this series, about Jagg's brother, which I've already got in my wish list on amazon!
