Synopsis:

A sinister surprise is lying in wait…

With her trusted team all focused on getting justice, Special Agent Lara Grant is relieved to finally see some progress, even if their investigation has now turned to delving into some gruesome events from over twenty years ago.

An exhumation is necessary to unravel all the knots of this case, but Lara is surprised by how close their quarry is… In fact, he's just one step ahead, almost teasing them by how near he is…

Part 6 of 8 in the chilling, high-octane FBI thriller TOUGH JUSTICE from New York Times bestselling author Carla Cassidy and authors Tyler Anne Snell, Carol Ericson and Gail Barrett.

Review:

Now the team knows who they are looking for but finding them is something entirely different.  It still seems that Moretti is always one step ahead. As Lara tries to protect her sister she also seems to give the bad guys a tip that she may be on to them.  Trying to find the sniper that has been taking out their witnesses has proven elusive but they may finally have him in their sites, instead of the other way around.

This series just keeps improving and twisting and turning.  I still have a few questions but hopefully they will be wrapped up by the final installment.
