Review:

I loved this book. If you'll excuse the pun it was very charming.  This is a book about rediscovering life.  Learning how to live again after tragedy and how sometimes the best way to honor someones memory is to experience new things and share your knowledge and past with new people.

I was sucked into this book straight away.  Arthur Pepper was a sad older man who had lost his wife a year ago and continues to spend his time in his rigid life routine, until he finds a charm bracelet in his wifes closet as he is cleaning out her things.  Fascinated by this jewelry he has never seen he decides to figure out what each charm means and in the process I think discovers himself and whats important to him.

Wonderfully written this book made me smile and made my heart warm.  Uplifting and quirky its a book that reminded me that no one is stuck and all you have to do is take a chance and you may find wonderful and fascinating things about yourself and the world around you.
