Review:

I've read other books by Maxfield and he never disappoints.  I really liked this book, I didn't realize it was part of a series but that didn't take away from my enjoyment.  When Andrew and Eddie finally get together they learn that each has secrets. Andrew is embarrassed by his father who is a hoarder and scared that its genetic and he will turn into a hoarder.  Eddie has severe dyslexia.  He is worried about telling Andrew since books seem to be his life.  Eddie can read but it is very difficult, he tends to listen to audio books and dictate texts and letters on the computer or his phone.

When secrets get revealed it is up to Eddie to show compassion and rely on his dedication to family to show Andrew that they can weather any storm and everyone has something they are ashamed of but with the help of friends they can work through it.

Beautifully written story.
