Q. Have you ever gotten a book signed by the author? (submitted by Julie @ JadeSky)

A. Yes! I am a huge Anne Rice Fan and have most of her books in first edition signed copies.  I actually have a photo of her with my daughter Rowan when she was a baby.  I have also met several children's book authors. One of my favorites was Eric Carle who signed my copy of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and of course my sister, Zara Gonzalez Hoang who wrote A New Kind of Wild and has a new one Mi Casa is my home.
