I am a huge fan of mythology and the more I read into this book the deeper the mythology became. I really loved the new twist on this myth and was captured from the beginning. Natia works for her a secret agency protecting humans from Demons although her true passion is dance. Natia fights how she dances, with fluid grace but as her fights become more dangerous so do her powers.
Going undercover to find out who is kidnapping people she meets Archan Reinheart, the sexy dominate male who is definitely a powerful being she just doesn't know what he is. There is also a very strong connection between the two of them. Her undercover mission turns into a hunt for a missing object that may hold the fate of the world.
I love all the sarcasm and witty banter between the characters which gave levity to the book. While there isn't a lot of sexy time there is a whole lot of flirting and foreplay to keep you interested. The action is violent and deadly and Natia can hold her own against some very powerful beings. I love that she also knows what she wants in a relationship - she may love to flirt but that isn't going to get you very far, she is looking for love and if Archan can't reciprocate then he may not get what he is after.
This book ends on a cliffhanger and I immediately downloaded book 2.
