Synopsis

Review:
These books keep getting better and they don't hold back with nasty
hits to major players. Pickett finds himself involved in a stand off the
likes of Ruby Ridge. The woman behind this is the head of the forest
service anti-government section. She is ambitious , paranoid and
dangerous. Once again Pickett is doing now only his own job but it seems
that of the sheriff. He also makes a new ally in an ex-military guy who
lives in the woods and helps birds of prey.
I needed tissues for the end of this book and. my heart was broken for
the whole Pickett clan. I understand now why these books are so wildly
popular! I'm definitely hooked. I also watched the show on paramount and
it's pretty good. First season follows book 1 pretty well but season 2
wow it just blew me away.
