Synopsis

You just boarded a flight to New York.

There are one hundred and forty-three other passengers onboard.

What you don’t know is that thirty minutes before the flight your pilot’s family was kidnapped.

For his family to live, everyone on your plane must die.

The only way the family will survive is if the pilot follows his orders and crashes the plane.

Enjoy the flight.

Review:

I kept seeing this book around and thought it looked good and I was right. Fast paced this book puts a pilot in a no win situation, and the terrorists are seen as human instead of just faceless monsters. A pilots family is kidnapped and strapped with explosives unless told they would die if he didn't crash the plane.

This book grabs you from the beginning and keeps going page after page, or in this case minute after minute. We live the terror of being on a plane that has been hijacked, the desperate maneuverings of a pilot intent on saving his charges and his family, a terrorist seeking revenge for his dead family and friends, a country that doesn't seem to care about anyone but themselves and a family who are intent on staying alive.

There is a lot going on in this book and I am glad that while I didn't have a ton of compassion for the terrorists I understood their frustration. They were made human and while their actions were wrong they were right to be upset.

There are so many heroes in this book and it shows how brave the average person can be. Kudo's to the author for a great read.
